We decided to take a day trip to Delos by ferry. Considered the birthplace of Apollo and a sacred site (no one is allowed to be birthed here, no one is allowed to die here). Amazing site with vast collection of ruins, but since the day was so windy (I could barely open my eyes without sand getting in them or falling over from the wind), I wasn’t able to snap that many pictures; though it was fun running around in manner of Indiana Jones searching for lost artifacts . . .
Above: The mythical lions in the Lion District. Apparently these are replicas; the real ones are in the museum.

Tired after being tossed in the wind all day, we opted just to get a light take-out dinner and eat it in the hotel room. Tzatziki, salad and bread, I could eat these everyday probably.
Mmmm. Simple meals are so delicious.
I still dream of that tzatziki and bread . . .
